AI Website Builder

Architected and led end-to-end development of a website builder featuring live preview and AI site generation, owning the project from initial scoping through delivery.

• Reviewed designs to determine feasibility and ensure all requirements were met
• Broke down designs and requirements to properly scope out the amount of work and time needed to build the new website builder
• Architected the live preview feature and block structure to ensure proper functionality, reusability, and extensibility
• Delegated tasks to junior engineers and supervised their progress and adherence to best practices

AI Initiatives

• Implemented AI search and built an MCP server to integrate public provider data to streamline new user onboarding
• Added AGENTS.md and improved AI Agent rules to improve the quality of agent generated code
• Researched AI Coding IDEs and Agents to determine the best fit for our platform and team
• Researched AI Code Review Agents to improve the quality and efficiency of code reviews

Tooling & platform modernization

• Updated our legacy Gulp setup to use Rollup to allow more modern Javascript and importing of modules to eliminate the need for copy/pasting of shared functionality
• Implemented a new design system to improve the consistency and Developer Experience of the platform
• Implemented a new base template for the platform and managed the migration to it including from Bootstrap 4 to 5 and migrating legacy jQuery code to more modern Lit, Web Awesome and Vanilla Web Components

Full Stack Engineer

• Reviewed code and mentored junior engineers to ensure quality, and support growth in their knowledge of the platform and in engineering generally
• Built a real-time chat app to improve doctor communication within and outside of their practice.

  • Broke down designs and requirements to properly scope out the amount of work for a new mobile app to help doctors connect with each other to send referrals and ask specialists questions about their patients.

• Created a website builder and associated tools to greatly improve the experience and simplicity of building a website for a customer
